Lead Cabinet Installer
Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Cabinet Installer who has extensive experience with cabinet installation and finish carpentry. This role will require knowledge of carpentry and cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills to carefully remove damaged cabinets without causing further damage to other surroundings and reinstalling them. Knowledge of countertops is a plus, as we often must detach or support countertops in place while we remove and repair cabinets. We have a family-friendly atmosphere that promotes teamwork and a positive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in cabinet installation
- Previous work with trim carpentry
- Attention to detail, timeliness, organization skills and customer focus
- Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet installation
- Experience with countertops is a plus
- Responsible, reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to commute to and from the office in South Charlotte (located near Carowinds)
Duties
- Remove damaged cabinets and re-install repaired cabinets
- Install crown, scribe molding, quarter round and other moldings
- Cabinet assembly
- Consistently provide high quality customer service
- Strictly adhere to all safety requirements and procedures
- Ensure job sites and customer properties are clean, safe, and organized during your time on-site
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is filled out daily for each job performed
Skills
- Expertise in cabinetry and carpentry
- Experience interacting with customers on job sites
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively
